Observatory for Artificial Superintelligence Indicators and Ontological Signals

OASIOS is a research observatory dedicated to the systematic detection, analysis, and interpretation of weak signals that may indicate qualitative changes in the development of artificial intelligence.

The project integrates horizon scanning, formal ontology engineering, neuro-symbolic reasoning, anomaly detection, time-series analysis, and strategic early warning systems into a unified scientific platform.

The primary goal of OASIOS is to establish an objective, reproducible, and explainable framework for monitoring the global AI research ecosystem. The project does not seek to develop artificial superintelligence and does not assume its existence.

Instead, OASIOS focuses on scientific observation, evidence-based analysis, and the early identification of significant developments using open data and rigorous methodologies.

OASIOS is being developed as an open research initiative and welcomes collaboration with researchers and experts in artificial intelligence, data science, strategic foresight, ontology engineering, information security, philosophy of science, and related disciplines.
